The EKS 210a is an automated guided vehicle system based on our production trucks. Proven machine manufacturing meets precise laser navigation to produce an extensive safety system. This ensures the highest possible level of reliability and safety. The APM can be used as an entirely automatic system, but also in mixed operation with manual trucks and persons. Numerous sensors monitor the travel route, ensuring that the truck stops promptly as soon as an obstacle is detected in the warning or protection field.
The laser navigation used eliminates the need for costly floor and conversion work in the existing infrastructure. Controlled by the transport manager, the truck moves independently using reflectors in the warehouse.
The EKS 210a optimises transport orders entirely in accordance with your logistical processes.
The Auto Pallet Mover System can be connected to our warehouse management system (Jungheinrich WMS) or to an existing WMS. Our Logistics Interface undertakes interface communication with various parts of the system, such as the conveyor or various gates. A stand-alone solution using pushbuttons and/or sensors is also possible.
The modular system structure provides the ideal foundation for flexible and quick responses to your processes, enabling you to utilise the truck according to your requirements.

Established production truck used as basis

The basis of the EKS 210a is an EKS 210 vertical order picker. The EKS 210a comprises this tried and tested standard truck combined with an extensive safety system as well as automation and navigation components.
In addition to reliability, the EKS 210a also offers other benefits of the standard truck:

  • 48-V 3-phase AC technology for longer operating times (up to 2 shifts).
  • Active battery and energy management.
  • TÜV-certified control system (CAN-Bus).
Optimising the travel routes

The travel routes are optimised with the aid of the transport manager. Transport orders can also be adapted according to your needs. Standard load routes are handled punctually and without faults. Advantages of the transport manager:

  • Optimising of transport control.
  • Standard interface.
  • Connection to system peripherals (e.g. rapid reaction doors).
Laser navigation ensures precision

Thanks to the laser navigation, precise travel and accurate delivery is ensured within the system. The EKS 210a uses reflectors to orient itself automatically within the warehouse. The truck can be integrated into the existing structures without floor or conversion work. Consequently, flexible changes in the travel route can be easily and rapidly executed at any time.

Information at a glance

All information relating to the EKS 210a is displayed in the warehouse layout. This provides a rapid overview of the status of transport duties. Prioritised orders can also be entered and processed in the corresponding order.

Integration into existing systems

Our logistics interfaces allows for simple integration into existing systems. Connections can be made very easily to the standard WLAN system and an existing warehouse management system.
The EKS 210a can also be used as a stand-alone system by means of pushbutton and/or sensors.
