Warehouse navigation in wide aisles provides you with similar functionality to that of a car sat-nav. It can be used in all areas of the pre-zone as well as in wide aisles. Instead of using GPS, this positioning system functions , by means of optical positioning systems with 2D barcodes on the ceiling of the warehouse or markings on the floor and a barcode reader on the roof of each fork lift. It is also possible to use other positioning systems. The integrated, semi-automatic rack height positioning removes the need for time-consuming precise positioning of the mast. This is an additional time saving for you.

In the shortest time. Via the shortest route. In wide aisle warehouses, the warehouse navigation guides the operator through the warehouse via the shortest route to the desired destination bay. Costly journeys searching for the right location are a thing of the past. In addition to productivity, this also improves the stacking and retrieval quality. Errors are avoided and the stress on the operator is significantly reduced. Further time can be saved by the semi-automatic rack height positioning. In addition, it is possible to reduce the manual scans by stacking/retrieving whole pallets via automatic confirmations to the warehouse management system.


All load aids, goods and bays are equipped with transponders. As the operator enters the pallet or rack, the RFID system on the truck automatically reads the data on the attached transponders. The relevant information is sent to the warehouse management system via the Jungheinrich logistics interface. The RFID antennae for reading the transponders can either be mounted on the sides of the truck or incorporated into the forks.

Semi-automatic lift-height positioning

In addition to the warehouse navigation, the logistics interface also calculates the appropriate lift height from the bay. As soon as the operator arrives at the rack, the logistics interface 'speaks to' the truck controller. The operator extends the mast, which then stops automatically when it reaches the correct height. Additional time is saved because the operator no longer has to spend time precisely positioning the mast. When necessary, the semi-automatic rack height positioning function can also be used independently of the route management function.
